- • Vana, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and strategically-minded Product Operations Manager to join our growing team in Guatemala. This pivotal role is designed to ensure Vana's product organization operates as a cohesive, aligned system, especially as we scale across multiple products, teams, and countries. You will be the central orchestrator, managing complexity between diverse teams, coordinating cross-functional initiatives, and optimizing planning processes to guarantee swift, clear, and predictable execution. This is a strategic execution role with high visibility across all key areas of the company, offering a unique opportunity to shape how Vana builds and delivers exceptional products.
- • As the Product Operations Manager, you will be instrumental in streamlining our product development lifecycle and fostering seamless collaboration. Your primary focus will be on establishing and refining operational excellence within the product organization. This involves acting as the linchpin that connects various product tribes, ensuring that strategic objectives are translated into actionable plans and executed efficiently. You will be responsible for identifying bottlenecks, implementing best practices, and driving continuous improvement to enhance our overall product delivery capabilities.
- • A core aspect of this role involves the coordination of cross-tribe initiatives. You will work closely with product managers, engineering leads, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on priorities, dependencies, and timelines. This requires a proactive approach to communication and problem-solving, anticipating potential roadblocks and facilitating solutions that enable teams to move forward without delay. Your ability to foster a collaborative environment will be key to the success of these cross-functional efforts.
- • You will play a critical role in the management of our product roadmap and dependencies. This includes developing and maintaining clear visibility into what each team is working on, understanding how different initiatives interrelate, and proactively identifying and mitigating risks associated with these dependencies. Your efforts will ensure that our product development efforts are synchronized and that we are delivering value to our customers in a timely and predictable manner.
- • Supporting strategic planning is another key responsibility. You will contribute to the annual and quarterly planning processes, helping to translate high-level business goals into concrete product strategies and roadmaps. This involves working with leadership to define key objectives, allocate resources effectively, and ensure that our product investments are aligned with Vana's overall business strategy. Your analytical skills and understanding of the product landscape will be invaluable in this process.
- • Ensuring visibility and communication of results is paramount. You will be responsible for establishing metrics and reporting mechanisms to track the progress and performance of our product initiatives. This includes communicating key outcomes, insights, and learnings to stakeholders across the organization, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement. Your ability to distill complex information into clear, concise updates will be essential.
- • Optimizing the operational cadence is crucial for maintaining momentum and efficiency. You will design and implement predictable rhythms for key product processes, such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, roadmap reviews, and release management. This involves standardizing workflows, identifying areas for automation, and ensuring that our operational processes are scalable and adaptable to Vana's evolving needs.
- • Finally, you will facilitate functional integration, ensuring that different product teams and functional areas work together harmoniously. This may involve defining common standards, facilitating knowledge sharing, and resolving conflicts or discrepancies that may arise. Your role is to ensure that Vana's product development operates as a unified, high-performing entity.
