Product Owner

📋 Description

• • Serve as the primary Product Owner on agile squads, translating business and user needs into clear product requirements, user stories, and system specifications for one or more products.
• • Maintain deep, detailed knowledge of product users, indications for use, and real-world workflows to guide product development and prioritization.
• • Decompose epics and high-level requirements into functional and non-functional system requirements, ensuring each user story includes clear scenarios and acceptance criteria.
• • Create comprehensive requirement documentation including use case definitions, system behavior descriptions, and supplementary specifications that capture requirements not easily expressed in use cases.
• • Ensure all requirement documentation complies with the organization’s quality system standards and regulatory expectations.
• • Perform requirements modeling using UML diagrams to visually represent system functionality from multiple perspectives, aiding cross-functional understanding.
• • Establish and maintain traceability between defined requirements and development project plans to guarantee full scope coverage and alignment with release goals.
• • Lead requirements triage and planning efforts to prioritize and select the most critical requirements for inclusion in each software release.
• • Act as the central liaison between development, support, services, and RAQA teams to align on product requirements and resolve ambiguities.
• • Collect, analyze, and integrate Voice of Customer (VOC) feedback from post-market data, customer satisfaction metrics, user groups, and community forums to shape the product roadmap.
• • Travel to customer sites, third-party partner locations, trade shows, or subject matter expert facilities as needed to gather direct user insights and validate product assumptions.
• • Build and maintain relationships with key Sponsor Users to champion VOC-driven improvements and coordinate showcase demonstrations of product progress.
• • Collaborate with the Product Manager and Innovation Adoption Executive to facilitate Early Evaluation and Early Adoption programs for new features and enhancements.
• • Participate in cross-functional project planning sessions to clarify software functionality, ensure alignment on intended behavior, and identify dependencies.
• • Identify and escalate gaps in solution understanding or viability that could impact meeting user needs or regulatory compliance.
• • Continuously seek process improvements in requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder communication for both internal teams and external customers.
• • Engage in self-development through reading, seminars, and continuing education to maintain expertise in product ownership and domain-specific technologies.
• • Perform additional duties as assigned by immediate supervisor or upper management to support team and organizational goals.
