- • Lead end-to-end development of Jerry.ai’s AI platform and customer experiences, from roadmap creation to full rollout, focusing on automating car ownership services using LLMs and agentic systems.
- • Partner with engineering teams to design prompt strategies, evaluation frameworks, and guardrails that balance latency, cost, and accuracy in high-volume AI interactions (50k+ chats/month).
- • Serve as the technical translator between engineering and cross-functional teams, establishing AI best practices, platform standards, and clear communication of complex system behaviors.
- • Drive systematic improvements in answer quality, customer satisfaction, and automation rates through rigorous experimentation, A/B testing, and data-backed decision-making.
- • Collaborate directly with OpenAI partners to evaluate, integrate, and deploy next-generation voice models and workflow automation capabilities into the ChatGPT App.
- • Own the strategic direction of Jerry.ai’s AI-powered customer experience, ensuring alignment with business goals to automate a fragmented $2T car ownership market.
- • Translate complex technical concepts into actionable product requirements for non-technical stakeholders while maintaining deep engagement with engineering on API design and system architecture.
- • Utilize SQL to independently analyze customer interaction data, validate hypotheses, and uncover opportunities to increase automation rates and reduce human-in-the-loop dependency.
- • Build and scale production-grade AI systems that already automate over 70% of inbound sales and service requests, continuously refining performance based on real-world usage patterns.
- • Champion a culture of innovation by staying current with LLM release notes, experimenting with new model capabilities, and implementing custom AI workflows that enhance platform functionality.
- • Define and measure key performance indicators around automation efficiency, customer satisfaction, and cost per interaction, using data to justify product decisions and resource allocation.
- • Work cross-functionally with product, design, and operations to ensure AI features are seamlessly integrated into the user journey across Jerry.ai’s super app ecosystem.
- • Maintain a systems-thinking mindset to anticipate edge cases, scalability challenges, and failure modes in multi-agent workflows and human-AI collaboration loops.
- • Lead the adoption of AI platform standards across teams, ensuring consistency in model behavior, safety protocols, and user experience across all customer touchpoints.
🎯 Requirements
- • 4+ years of experience in management consulting or technical product management at a fast-paced startup
- • Proven interest in and hands-on experience with modern LLM systems
- • Ability to navigate technical tradeoffs and lead implementation of AI platform standards
- • A track record of turning complex, strategic ideas into scalable, production-grade products
- • Familiarity with SQL and comfort using data to answer questions and validate hypotheses
- • Systems thinker comfortable engaging in technical conversations about API design and architecture
