📋 Description

• • Own the end-to-end strategy, roadmap, and delivery of Ferguson’s Customer Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, and readiness for enterprise deployment.
• • Define and evolve product capabilities that enable automated inventory management, real-time data visibility, proactive replenishment, and seamless integration with customer and external partner systems.
• • Translate business objectives from Customer Groups, Supply Chain, and Technology into a prioritized product roadmap that enhances customer experience, operational efficiency, and repeatable technology-enabled service delivery.
• • Incorporate supply chain maturity models and industry standards to advance customer collaboration capabilities and platform functionality across diverse customer segments.
• • Maintain final authority over backlog prioritization, delivery tradeoffs, and scope decisions while balancing customer needs, technical constraints, and business outcomes.
• • Partner cross-functionally with Customer Groups, Technology, Architecture, Middleware, and external vendors to align on requirements, resolve dependencies, and drive shared understanding of product intent.
• • Define, track, and communicate key performance indicators related to customer adoption, revenue impact, inventory optimization, and system reliability across multiple internal and external data sources.
• • Anticipate and mitigate operational, supplier, technical, cyber, and compliance risks associated with scaling VMI solutions across Ferguson’s enterprise ecosystem.
• • Lead through influence to build alignment among senior leaders in Customer Groups, Supply Chain, and Technology, serving as a trusted decision-maker on product direction and investment.
• • Coach and collaborate with business systems analysts, engineers, data/integration teams, and external partner liaisons to ensure consistent execution of product vision across organizational boundaries.
• • Deliver external commitments related to roadmap scope, phased integrations, and delivery timelines while protecting long-term product value and customer trust.
• • Position the Customer VMI product for future scale, capability expansion, and continued investment by establishing a clear, adopted roadmap within 12–18 months.
• • Ensure the VMI platform supports Ferguson’s mission to simplify complex customer projects through technology-enabled inventory solutions across Commercial/Mechanical, HVAC, Industrial, Residential, and Waterworks markets.
• • Travel up to 40% to support customer engagements, partner meetings, and internal alignment sessions across Ferguson’s national operations.
• • Maintain a unified product vision that connects customer-facing workflows, enterprise inventory systems, and external platform integrations to deliver end-to-end inventory visibility and automated replenishment.
• • Continuously evaluate market conditions, customer feedback, and system performance to adapt priorities and respond to emerging threats or opportunities in the VMI space.
