  • • Own and maintain a prioritized product backlog for SavvyMoney’s pre-approved marketing product, translating high-level PRDs into detailed epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria with edge cases and integration considerations.
  • • Lead agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives in partnership with the Technical Program Manager to drive squad velocity and team performance.
  • • Serve as the primary liaison between the engineering squad and cross-functional stakeholders—including Product Managers, sales, marketing, and customer success teams—to ensure alignment on scope, priorities, and release expectations.
  • • Collaborate with QA teams to define comprehensive test cases and acceptance criteria, actively participating in acceptance testing to validate feature delivery and enforce quality standards before release.
  • • Partner with Product Managers to refine and evolve the Offer Center product roadmap, expanding its capabilities beyond pre-approved credit offers to support additional financial product offerings.
  • • Maintain accurate and up-to-date product documentation, including release notes, user guides, and functional specifications, ensuring accessibility for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • • Use data and analytics to measure product performance, identify improvement opportunities, and inform backlog prioritization decisions, regularly communicating results and learnings to leadership and squad members.
  • • Break down complex business requirements into actionable engineering tasks, ensuring clarity and precision in requirements to minimize rework and enhance delivery predictability.
  • • Proactively identify and remove blockers affecting squad productivity, fostering a high-performing, collaborative team culture focused on continuous improvement.
  • • Coordinate rollout plans with go-to-market teams to align feature launches with partner communications, marketing campaigns, and customer engagement strategies.
  • • Work closely with the lending & deposits ecosystem squad to ensure consistency and synergy across shared product domains, particularly around the Offer Center platform.
  • • Apply data-driven insights from squad velocity metrics to uncover bottlenecks, improve delivery cadence, and raise overall team output quality over time.
  • • Communicate sprint outcomes clearly during reviews, articulating the business value delivered and tying it back to strategic objectives and partner needs.
  • • Ensure all product documentation reflects the current state of the product and evolves in sync with iterative changes and feature updates.
  • • Champion a culture of quality by insisting on thorough requirement refinement and early identification of corner cases during backlog grooming, preventing post-launch issues.
  • • Support the product vision by integrating feedback from financial institution partners and internal stakeholders into the product roadmap with measurable impact.
  • • Manage competing priorities effectively in a fast-paced fintech environment, making confident, data-informed decisions that balance business needs, technical feasibility, and customer impact.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field—or equivalent practical experience
  • • 3–5 years of experience in a product owner or product management role with focus on requirements refinement, story definition, and backlog management
  • • Demonstrated proficiency with agile methodologies and hands-on experience using Jira and Confluence
  • • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to break down complex business requirements into actionable engineering work
  • • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable leading meetings and presenting to cross-functional stakeholders
  • • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and make confident, data-informed decisions in a fast-paced environment
