- • As a Product Security Engineer at DataRobot, you will drive day-to-day security operations to ensure the platform meets rigorous security demands for on-premises and hosted customers, operating at the intersection of engineering, automation, and security.
- • You will automate security processes using Python, manage container and Kubernetes security, deploy and maintain SAST/DAST/SCA tools (e.g., Semgrep, Trivy, Burp Suite), lead threat modeling for new features, and conduct vulnerability assessments to prioritize and mitigate risks.
- • You will serve as a technical liaison between engineering, sales, and support teams, handling customer security inquiries, performing initial incident investigations, and communicating security policies diplomatically to maintain trust while upholding rigorous standards.
- • You will deepen your expertise in securing AI/ML platforms, gain hands-on experience with modern DevSecOps toolchains, and contribute to systemic security improvements by automating vulnerability prevention across the SDLC, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor in product security.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3 to 5 years of experience in Product Security or Application Security roles
- • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- • Proficiency in Python for writing security automation scripts
- • Deep understanding of Linux containers, including internals and security isolation
- • Experience with Git-based collaboration and CI/CD integration (Jenkins, Harness, or GitHub Actions)
- • Hands-on experience with security tools such as Semgrep, Trivy, and Burp Suite
- • Familiarity with Kubernetes orchestration (strongly preferred)
- • Ability to perform manual or AI-assisted code reviews in Python, Go, and Node.js to identify logic flaws
- • Strong communication skills for guiding teams and liaising with stakeholders
- • Ability to work independently on complex technical tasks and escalate when necessary
