Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • As a Product Success Manager for GM at Teamworks Technologies, you will serve as the primary strategic partner for college athletic programs navigating the complexities of Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) and revenue sharing operations, owning a portfolio of GM customers across a conference territory and guiding them from implementation through renewal while building deep expertise in athlete compensation, compliance, and financial workflows.
- • You will lead end-to-end implementations for new GM accounts, including kickoff calls, system configuration, stakeholder training (ADs, compliance officers, CFOs, NIL staff), and tracking measurable milestones within defined timelines to ensure successful adoption and early value realization.
- • You will drive ongoing product adoption and customer outcomes by proactively identifying usage gaps, recommending optimizations, and expanding product utilization to improve operational efficiency and athlete experience across the NIL lifecycle.
- • You will act as the voice of the customer within internal product teams, synthesizing field insights to influence roadmap priorities, manage expectations around feature releases, and advocate for enhancements that address real-world NIL operational challenges.
- • Over time, you will expand your scope to include Teamworks Influencer, taking ownership of NIL content and compliance workflows to become a full-spectrum NIL Operations resource for your accounts, enabling holistic support beyond GM’s core athlete compensation tools.
- • You will operate in a high-stakes, fast-moving environment where resilience, emotional intelligence, and clear communication are essential — translating complex regulatory and financial concepts into actionable guidance for diverse audiences, from student-athletes to executive leadership.
- • You will join a mission-driven team at Teamworks, the Operating System for Sports™, which powers over 6,500 organizations globally — from collegiate athletics to professional leagues — and is actively shaping the infrastructure that enables compliant, efficient NIL operations in one of the most transformative eras in college sports.
- • In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to help define the emerging category of NIL Operations, not just execute existing processes but help shape how Teamworks shows up for schools as they navigate evolving regulations, financial models, and student-athlete welfare needs.
🎯 Requirements
- • Campus experience in NIL or revenue share — AD office, compliance, NIL director, player relations, or equivalent role with deep understanding of how athlete compensation operations function within college athletics.
- • Working knowledge of football or basketball operations and/or the transfer portal, including familiarity with team operations, budget cycles, and compliance windows unique to revenue-share-participating sports.
- • Ability to communicate complex information clearly and adapt messaging across audiences — from student-athletes and coaches to CFOs, compliance officers, and university administrators.
- • Solid understanding of the current NIL landscape, including NCAA regulations, state laws, institutional policies, and evolving compliance frameworks governing athlete compensation.
- • Demonstrated resilience under pressure — ability to remain effective, calm, and solution-oriented in high-stakes environments with tight deadlines, emotionally charged situations, and competing stakeholder priorities.
🏖️ Benefits
- • Opportunity to own and shape a emerging product category (NIL Operations) at a market-leading sports technology company with direct impact on how college athletics administer athlete compensation.
- • Hybrid or remote work flexibility within the United States, enabling you to serve customers nationally while maintaining work-life balance.
- • Access to professional development resources and mentorship from experienced product, customer success, and sports tech leaders at Teamworks.
- • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance plans, plus 401(k) with company match, supporting long-term well-being and financial security.
- • Generous paid time off, company holidays, and parental leave policies designed to support employees through all life stages.
- • Equity eligibility and performance-based bonuses tied to customer retention, expansion, and satisfaction metrics, aligning your success with company and customer outcomes.
