📋 Description

• As a Senior Investment Manager (Mensch) at WPP Media, you will play a pivotal role in shaping media investment strategies for global brands by leading the negotiation and optimization of print, audio, and cinema media inventories. Your work directly impacts how clients allocate budgets and measure performance, ensuring transformational growth through data-driven, creative personalization at scale via WPP’s agentic marketing platform, WPP Open.
• Day to day, you will lead strategic negotiations and stewardship of media inventories, track and monitor client budgets and investment performance, conduct deep-dive analyses of budgets, terms, and booking data to support audits and transparency, develop innovative investment strategies and pricing models for media pitches, maintain regular and goal-oriented dialogue with media vendors and partners, and collaborate closely with consulting, planning, and expert teams on complex procurement strategies and tactics.
• WPP Media is WPP’s AI-driven media operating unit, uniting media, data, and partnerships to deliver scalable, personalized marketing solutions. 🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience in investment management or media planning/consulting, with a focus on audio, print, and cinema media.
• Strong analytical abilities and a passion for working with numbers and data to derive actionable insights from complex datasets.
• Excellent presentation skills, capable of simplifying complex concepts and delivering persuasive, audience-tailored communications.
• Proactive team player with strong networking abilities and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with media partners.
• Keen market awareness and the ability to proactively leverage industry trends to support business objectives.
• Fluency in German and very good English language skills.
