  • • Day-to-day responsibilities include calculating ProFee E/M levels using company algorithms, recognizing critical care cases by patient acuity, coding CPT for office and bedside procedures, applying ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS diagnosis and procedure codes with high specificity, interpreting coding guidelines, and ensuring compliance with AHIMA’s Standards of Ethical Coding and company policies.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Certification through AAPC (CPC or COC) or AHIMA (CCS or CCS-P)
  • • Minimum 1 year of on-the-job experience coding inpatient professional fee (ProFee) cardiology
  • • Experience with E/M, Observations, and bedside procedures coding
  • • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook (basic formulas, email management, scheduling)
  • • Reliable internet connection, phone, and access to current CPT and ICD-10-CM coding references
  • • Ability to maintain 95%+ productivity and quality accuracy rates
