  • The Professional (Senior) Sales Representative, Diversified Therapeutics role at Viatris Inc. is a critical field-based position responsible for driving product awareness, adoption, and sales growth across a defined territory in Louisiana and Mississippi. This role directly supports Viatris’ mission to empower people worldwide to live healthier by ensuring healthcare providers have access to high-quality, affordable medicines that improve patient outcomes across the lifespan—from acute to chronic conditions. Success in this role contributes to expanding access to essential therapeutics for approximately 1 billion patients globally served by Viatris annually.
  • Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and executing a strategic territory management plan targeting OBGYNs, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and Pharmacists across Shreveport, Alexandria, Lafayette, Lake Charles, and Jackson, MS. The representative will conduct pre- and post-call planning, deliver persuasive and balanced product presentations, utilize company-provided resources such as Lunch and Learns and displays, and gather field insights to refine prescribing strategies. They are expected to maintain high call and field productivity, respond promptly to customer inquiries, and consistently adhere to ethical sales practices and all applicable regulations while striving to meet or exceed sales goals.

🎯 Requirements

  • BS or BA degree required.
  • Minimum of 6 months to 2 years of outside B2B sales experience, preferably in pharmaceutical sales; relevant sales experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated business acumen, account management skills, and ability to engage in meaningful, persuasive two-way dialogues with healthcare professionals.
  • Strong verbal, interpersonal, listening, and written communication skills; proficiency in English (speaking, comprehending, reading, writing).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook; ability to learn, apply, and communicate product and disease state information over time.
  • Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and ability to travel within the assigned geography; must reside within or near the territory (Shreveport, LA; Alexandria, LA; Lafayette, LA; Lake Charles, LA; Jackson, MS); no relocation offered.

  • Competitive salary range: Professional level $100,000–$150,000 USD; Senior level $108,000–$162,000 USD, based on skills, experience, and location.
