📋 Description
- • The Professional (Senior) Sales Representative, Respiratory role covers the Buffalo Metro area, Williamsville, Orchard Park, Olean, Auburn, Rochester, Jamestown, and Niagara, NY.
- • Develops and executes a territory business plan aligned with Viatris sales strategies, objectives, and regulatory requirements.
- • Conducts high-quality sales presentations to targeted healthcare customers, including physicians and pharmacists.
- • Achieves quarterly sales goals within the assigned territory while adhering to ethical sales practices and compliance standards.
- • Applies targeting principles to identify and prioritize key prescribers and healthcare decision-makers.
- • Creates and implements pre-call planning strategies to maximize effectiveness of field interactions.
- • Builds and maintains positive, collaborative relationships with peers, customers, and internal managers.
- • Ensures high levels of call and field productivity through disciplined time management and strategic planning.
- • Gathers and analyzes intelligence from offices, pharmacists, and other sources to inform territory-specific sales strategies.
- • Utilizes product samples, literature, and promotional materials to enhance physician awareness and engagement with Viatris respiratory products.
- • Differentiates Viatris products from competitors by clearly communicating clinical and commercial advantages.
- • Responds to customer inquiries and concerns confidentially and in accordance with company policy and regulatory guidelines.
- • Engages in continuous learning through product knowledge training, sales techniques, and disease state education.
- • Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook for reporting, communication, and administrative tasks.
- • Must live within or within reasonable driving distance of the assigned territory.
- • Maintains a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record to support required travel.
- • Professional or Senior Professional level is determined by years of relevant professional experience.
- • Proficiency in speaking, reading, writing, and comprehending English is required.
🎯 Requirements
- • BS or BA degree required
- • Minimum of 1 year of pharmaceutical sales experience (combination of experience and education may be considered)
- • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- • Must live within or within reasonable driving distance of the assigned territory (Buffalo Metro area, Williamsville, Orchard Park, Olean, Auburn, Rochester, Jamestown, Niagara, NY)
- • Demonstrated history of successful sales performance
- • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
