📋 Description

  • Cover the Chattanooga, TN territory, including Oak Ridge and Winchester, TN, to drive sales of Viatris respiratory products.
  • Develop and execute a territory business plan aligned with Viatris sales strategies, objectives, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Conduct high-quality, compliant sales presentations to physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals within the assigned region.
  • Achieve and exceed quarterly sales targets while maintaining strict adherence to ethical sales practices and federal/state regulations.
  • Apply targeting principles to identify and prioritize key prescribers and optimize field productivity.
  • Create and implement pre-call planning strategies for top accounts to maximize engagement and impact.
  • Build and maintain positive, collaborative relationships with internal peers, customers, and management to support territory success.
  • Gather and analyze intelligence from pharmacies, offices, and prescribers to inform tailored strategies for increasing product awareness and adoption.
  • Utilize Viatris sample programs, educational literature, and marketing materials to enhance physician understanding of respiratory product offerings.
  • Clearly articulate product differentiation from competitors and respond to customer inquiries with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Maintain high levels of call frequency and field activity to ensure consistent market presence and brand visibility.
  • Pursue continuous professional development through product training, sales techniques, and disease-state education to stay current and effective.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook for reporting, planning, and communication tasks.
  • Travel independently throughout the assigned territory to visit customers and attend necessary meetings or events.
  • Maintain a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record to support territory coverage.
  • Live within or within reasonable driving distance of the Chattanooga, TN territory to ensure timely and consistent field presence.
  • Communicate effectively in English — demonstrating strong spoken, written, and listening skills for all professional interactions.
  • Operate as both a self-starter and a collaborative team member, driving results independently while contributing to broader regional goals.
  • Apply business acumen and negotiation skills to influence prescribing behavior and secure commitments.
  • Exhibit leadership qualities in managing own territory, mentoring peers, and representing Viatris with integrity and professionalism.
