📋 Description
- • Cover assigned territory including Mobile, Montgomery, Foley, and Troy in Alabama to drive sales of Viatris respiratory products.
- • Develop and execute a territory business plan aligned with Viatris sales strategies, objectives, and regulatory requirements.
- • Conduct high-quality, compliant sales presentations to physicians, pharmacists, and other key healthcare stakeholders.
- • Achieve quarterly sales targets while maintaining strict adherence to ethical sales practices and industry regulations.
- • Apply targeting principles to identify, prioritize, and engage high-potential prescribers within the territory.
- • Create and implement pre-call planning strategies for key accounts to maximize interaction effectiveness and product awareness.
- • Build and maintain positive, collaborative relationships with peers, customers, and internal management teams.
- • Ensure consistent field productivity through high call volume, efficient scheduling, and accurate documentation.
- • Collect and analyze intelligence from pharmacists, office staff, and other sources to tailor territory-specific sales strategies.
- • Utilize product samples, educational literature, and marketing materials to increase physician awareness and adoption of Viatris respiratory therapies.
- • Clearly differentiate Viatris products from competitors by articulating unique value propositions and responding to customer inquiries with confidentiality and professionalism.
- • Pursue ongoing professional development through training programs focused on sales techniques, communication skills, and disease state knowledge.
- • Maintain proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook for reporting, planning, and communication purposes.
- • Travel within the assigned territory to conduct in-person visits with healthcare providers as required.
- • Live within or within reasonable driving distance of the Mobile, AL territory to ensure consistent field presence and responsiveness.
- • Demonstrate ability to work both independently as a self-starter and collaboratively as part of a team to achieve results.
- • Exhibit strong business acumen, negotiation skills, and leadership qualities in day-to-day interactions and decision-making.
- • Possess excellent oral and written communication skills, with a proven ability to listen actively and respond appropriately to customer needs.
- • Learn, retain, and effectively communicate complex product information and related disease state details over time.
- • Maintain a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record to meet travel requirements of the role.
- • Communicate fluently in English, with proficiency in speaking, reading, writing, and comprehension.
🎯 Requirements
- • BS or BA degree required
- • Minimum 1 year of pharmaceutical sales experience (combination of experience and education may be considered)
- • Documented history of successful performance
- • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- • Ability to travel within assigned territory and live within or near Mobile, AL
- • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
