📋 Description
- • Cover and manage the assigned territory including Spokane, WA, and Missoula, Helena, Bozeman, and Billings, MT to drive respiratory product sales.
- • Develop and execute a territory business plan aligned with Viatris sales strategies, objectives, and regulatory guidelines.
- • Conduct high-quality, compliant sales presentations to physicians and other targeted healthcare professionals.
- • Achieve and exceed quarterly sales goals while maintaining adherence to all ethical sales practices and industry regulations.
- • Apply targeting principles to identify, prioritize, and engage key prescribers within the territory.
- • Create and implement pre-call planning strategies to maximize effectiveness and efficiency of field visits.
- • Build and maintain positive, collaborative relationships with peers, customers, and internal managers.
- • Ensure high levels of call productivity and field activity through disciplined time management and strategic planning.
- • Gather and analyze intelligence from pharmacists, office staff, and other sources to tailor sales approaches for prescribers.
- • Utilize product samples, educational literature, and promotional materials to increase physician awareness and adoption of Viatris respiratory products.
- • Clearly differentiate Viatris products from competitors and respond to customer inquiries confidentially and professionally.
- • Commit to continuous learning through ongoing training in sales techniques, communication skills, and product/disease state knowledge.
- • Maintain proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook for reporting, planning, and communication tasks.
- • Travel as needed within the assigned territory to meet customer demands and achieve sales targets.
- • Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record to perform essential job functions.
- • Operate as a self-starter with strong motivation to deliver results independently while contributing to team objectives.
- • Demonstrate business acumen, influence, and negotiation skills to drive sales outcomes and build long-term customer relationships.
- • Communicate effectively with strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills, including active listening and clarity in messaging.
- • Adapt and apply product and disease state knowledge over time to support informed, value-based conversations with healthcare providers.
- • Meet all key competencies and performance expectations established for the Professional or Senior Professional level.
🎯 Requirements
- • BS or BA degree required
- • Minimum of 1 year of pharmaceutical sales experience (combination of experience and education may be considered)
- • Documented history of successful sales performance
- • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- • Ability to travel and live within or near the assigned territory (Spokane, WA and surrounding MT cities)
- • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook
