📋 Description
- • Cover assigned territory including Wilmington, Whiteville, Fayetteville, NC, and Myrtle Beach, SC, to drive sales growth for Viatris respiratory products.
- • Develop and execute a territory business plan aligned with Viatris sales strategies, objectives, and regulatory requirements.
- • Conduct high-quality, compliant sales presentations to physicians, pharmacists, and other key healthcare decision-makers.
- • Achieve and exceed quarterly sales targets within territory while maintaining strict adherence to ethical sales practices and industry regulations.
- • Apply targeting principles to identify, prioritize, and engage high-potential prescribers in the assigned region.
- • Create and implement pre-call planning strategies for key accounts to maximize sales effectiveness and customer engagement.
- • Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with peers, customers, and internal managers to foster collaboration and trust.
- • Ensure high levels of field productivity through consistent, structured call cycles and effective time management.
- • Collect and analyze feedback from physicians, pharmacists, and office staff to inform territory-specific sales strategies.
- • Utilize product samples, educational literature, and promotional materials to increase physician awareness and adoption of Viatris respiratory medications.
- • Clearly differentiate Viatris products from competitor offerings and respond to customer questions or concerns with confidentiality and professionalism.
- • Pursue continuous professional development through ongoing training in sales techniques, communication skills, and product/disease state knowledge.
- • Maintain proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook to manage customer data, reports, and communications.
- • Travel regularly throughout the assigned territory to meet with customers and attend regional meetings.
- • Live within or within reasonable driving distance of the assigned territory to ensure operational readiness and responsiveness.
- • Maintain a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record to comply with company travel requirements.
- • Demonstrate self-initiative, motivation, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team to achieve results.
- • Communicate complex product and disease state information accurately and effectively to diverse healthcare professionals.
- • Exhibit proven business acumen, influence, and negotiation skills to drive customer adoption and sales outcomes.
- • Meet or exceed expectations for core competencies defined for the Professional or Senior Professional level in this role.
- • Ensure full compliance with all federal, state, and company policies regarding pharmaceutical sales and promotion.
