- • As a Professional (Senior) Sales Representative for Viatris Inc., you will be at the forefront of delivering critical respiratory medications to healthcare professionals within your assigned territory. This pivotal role is designed for an ambitious and results-oriented individual who thrives in a dynamic sales environment and is passionate about improving patient outcomes through access to high-quality pharmaceuticals.
- • Your primary mission will be to develop and execute a comprehensive business plan for the Winston-Salem, NC territory, which encompasses Winston-Salem, Statesville, Mooresville, and Salisbury. This plan must align seamlessly with Viatris' overarching sales strategies and objectives, ensuring consistent growth and market penetration.
- • You will be responsible for conducting impactful sales presentations to a diverse range of targeted customers, including physicians, specialists, and other key healthcare providers. The goal is to effectively communicate the value proposition of Viatris' respiratory product portfolio, highlighting their efficacy, safety, and benefits for patient care.
- • A core aspect of this role involves achieving ambitious quarterly sales goals. This will be accomplished through a combination of strategic planning, diligent execution, and unwavering adherence to all ethical sales practices and regulatory requirements governing the pharmaceutical industry.
- • Understanding and expertly applying targeting principles is crucial. You will need to identify and prioritize key accounts and prescribers within your territory, developing tailored strategies to engage them effectively and build strong, lasting relationships.
- • Pre-call planning will be a critical component of your daily activities. You will meticulously prepare for each customer interaction, ensuring you have a clear understanding of the customer's needs, potential objections, and the specific Viatris products that can address those needs.
- • Cultivating positive and interactive relationships with peers, customers, and Company managers is paramount. This collaborative approach fosters a supportive network and enhances your ability to drive business forward.
- • You will be expected to maintain high levels of call and field productivity, consistently engaging with your target audience and maximizing your reach within the territory.
- • A key responsibility is to gather and leverage intelligence from various sources, including medical offices, pharmacists, and other industry contacts. This information will be instrumental in developing and implementing specific, data-driven strategies for territory prescribers.
- • You will effectively utilize the sample program, literature, and other promotional materials to ensure physicians are fully aware of Viatris' innovative respiratory products and their clinical benefits.
- • A significant part of your role will involve differentiating Viatris products from those of competitors. You will need to articulate unique selling points and address customer concerns and issues promptly, confidentially, and professionally.
- • Continuous learning and professional development are essential. You will actively pursue training opportunities to enhance your expertise in efficient sales techniques, advanced communication strategies, and in-depth product knowledge, staying abreast of the latest advancements in respiratory medicine and Viatris' offerings.
