  • • Horizon Industries, Limited is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Program Acquisition Manager to join our dynamic team on a remote basis within the USA. This is a future opportunity, contingent upon proposal award, and requires candidates to possess a Secret Security Clearance. As a Program Acquisition Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading contractor Information Technology (IT) acquisition process teams, driving improvements in efficiency and effectiveness across the entire acquisition lifecycle.
  • • Your primary responsibility will be to manage and oversee the IT acquisition process, ensuring all milestones are met with precision and timeliness. This involves a deep understanding of the Information Technology Acquisition lifecycle, from initial planning and documentation through to final award and implementation. You will be instrumental in developing and executing acquisition strategies that align with government objectives and industry best practices.
  • • A key aspect of this role is the meticulous management and tracking of information and data. You will be responsible for collecting, inputting, processing, and analyzing data received from various stakeholders, including customers and technical contacts. This requires a keen eye for detail to identify any discrepancies, potential risks, or resource constraints that could impact the acquisition process.
  • • You will act as a crucial liaison, collaborating closely with government program managers to identify discrepancies and assess available resources. This collaborative approach is essential for proactively addressing challenges and ensuring the smooth progression of programs. Your ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders will be paramount to success.
  • • Furthermore, you will be a champion for process improvement. Working in tandem with the government program manager, you will identify opportunities to enhance the acquisition process, making it more efficient, accurate, and timely. This includes streamlining workflows, implementing best practices, and ensuring that all transmitted information for review is of the highest quality and integrity.
  • • The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in program management, specifically within Acquisition Category (ACAT) and non-ACAT programs. Experience with the intricacies of the Information Technology Acquisition lifecycle and its associated milestones is essential. You should be adept at managing, reviewing, and analyzing a wide array of source and acquisition documentation, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of procurement regulations and procedures.
