- • Lead the implementation and scaling of Khan Academy’s learning platform within large public school systems across Indian states, working directly with state-level education leadership to plan and execute rollout strategies.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally with Content, Partner Operations, Teacher Enablement, and Data and Efficacy teams to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of program services aligned with state-level education goals.
- • Analyze large quantitative datasets to identify strategic levers that increase platform usage, student mastery, and teacher engagement across state partnerships.
- • Gather, interpret, and act on qualitative feedback from school administrators and teachers to refine program design, improve implementation, and enhance local relevance.
- • Build sustainable capacity within government school systems by training educators and administrators, fostering peer-to-peer learning networks, and embedding Khan Academy tools into existing instructional workflows.
- • Balance short-term execution needs with long-term strategic planning to ensure program success and scalability across multiple states over a three-year horizon.
- • Proactively identify opportunities to expand program impact, including new partnerships, localized content adoption, and improved teacher support mechanisms.
- • Travel regularly to partner schools and state education offices to conduct on-site support, monitor implementation progress, and strengthen relationships with government stakeholders.
- • Use data-backed insights to guide decision-making, adjust implementation plans in real time, and demonstrate program efficacy to state partners and internal leadership.
- • Communicate clearly and effectively with diverse audiences—including government officials, teachers, and internal teams—using appropriate formats such as presentations, reports, emails, and verbal briefings.
- • Maintain a high tolerance for ambiguity, adapt quickly to evolving state-level policies and education priorities, and demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset by experimenting with new approaches to drive impact.
- • Roll up your sleeves to support team priorities, whether through hands-on coordination, data analysis, or direct engagement with schools during critical implementation phases.
- • Champion Khan Academy’s mission to provide free, world-class education to underserved learners by ensuring content is accessible in local languages and aligned with regional curricula.
🎯 Requirements
- • 6–9 years of relevant work experience in education, public sector projects, or large-scale program implementation
- • Proven track record of managing complex projects from inception to completion with clear scope, goals, timelines, and quality outcomes
- • Strong project management and cross-functional coordination skills, especially without formal authority over teams
- • Experience analyzing both quantitative and qualitative data to derive actionable insights and inform program adjustments
- • Excellent communication skills across written, verbal, and presentation formats, with ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences
- • Willingness to travel frequently to schools and state offices across India
