📋 Description

• Lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale, cross-functional programs across Extreme Networks’ Data Center, Network Operating Systems (NOS), and cloud-based networking solutions, ensuring alignment with product roadmaps and customer outcomes.
• Orchestrate collaboration between engineering, product management, QA, security, customer success, and go-to-market teams to execute complex initiatives with defined milestones, KPIs, and governance models.
• Serve as the primary owner of program delivery outcomes, bridging strategic objectives with tactical execution to deliver scalable, secure, and automated networking solutions on time and with measurable quality.
• Manage Agile program ceremonies including Scrum of Scrums and PI Planning for globally distributed development teams, ensuring consistent adoption of Agile, SAFe, or Lean methodologies.
• Translate strategic business goals into detailed program plans with risk mitigation strategies, dependency tracking, and integration checkpoints across hardware, software, and cloud components.
• Act as the senior point of contact for strategic customer escalations, mobilizing internal resources to resolve critical issues and providing transparent, timely communication throughout the resolution lifecycle.
• Coordinate with alliances and partner teams to manage third-party integration partners, system integrators, and vendors, ensuring aligned delivery timelines, clear SLAs, and seamless solution handoffs.
• Maintain deep fluency in Extreme’s networking portfolio including switching, routing, SD-WAN, network security, and cloud-managed platforms to effectively track cross-product dependencies and technical integration points.
• Deliver executive-level program dashboards and status updates to product leadership and senior stakeholders, communicating progress, risks, and roadblocks with clarity and precision.
• Manage delivery across multiple time zones and geographies, coordinating culturally diverse teams and third-party subcontractors to ensure consistent, high-quality outcomes.
• Apply structured delivery frameworks such as ITIL, PMP, or PRINCE2 in conjunction with Agile/SAFe practices to ensure disciplined, repeatable, and scalable solution delivery.
• Engage directly with enterprise and service provider customers through executive briefings, business reviews, and ongoing relationship management to align delivery with customer expectations and business outcomes.
• Utilize program management tools including JIRA, Confluence, and Smartsheet to track progress, manage documentation, and maintain visibility across all program activities.
• Drive continuous improvement in delivery processes by identifying bottlenecks, optimizing workflows, and promoting best practices across global teams.
• Ensure all programs adhere to Extreme’s core values of inclusion and diversity, fostering an environment where cross-functional teams thrive through collaboration and mutual respect.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s preferred)
• 10+ years of experience in technical program management, ideally in networking, cloud, or infrastructure
• Demonstrated ability to lead hardware/software/cloud hybrid programs in fast-paced environments
• Experience using tools like JIRA, Confluence, Smartsheet, and executive dashboards
• Familiarity with Agile, SAFe, or Lean program management methodologies
• Networking domain knowledge: Hands-on familiarity with enterprise networking technologies including switching, routing, SD-WAN, network security, and cloud-managed networking platforms
