📋 Description

• As a Program Manager, Contracts & Analytics at Coinbase, you will be instrumental in shaping and optimizing the Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) systems, with a primary focus on empowering the Institutional Sales team. Your role is critical in ensuring that client contracting processes are not only seamless and compliant but also operate with the highest levels of efficiency.
• You will be the central figure responsible for the hands-on configuration, ongoing optimization, and strategic development of our CLM technologies. This includes deep technical and operational support for systems such as Ironclad, Evisort, and Salesforce, ensuring they are leveraged to their full potential.
• A core responsibility will be to build and maintain sophisticated contracting workflows within Ironclad. The objective here is to significantly accelerate the Institutional Sales contract pipeline, reducing turnaround times and improving the overall client experience.
• You will lead complex, cross-functional initiatives centered around contracts. This involves meticulous project management to ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and meet the high standards expected at Coinbase.
• A key aspect of your role will be supporting the integration planning and execution between various CLM systems and other essential business platforms, most notably Salesforce. The goal is to create a unified and streamlined ecosystem that enhances the institutional contracting process.
• You will be tasked with developing and managing a comprehensive contracts reporting framework. This encompasses data extraction, ensuring the integrity of metadata, and constructing robust data models that serve as the definitive system of record for all agreements.
• A significant part of your contribution will involve partnering closely with the Institutional Sales team. You will be responsible for surfacing critical contract insights and analytics derived from their client agreements, providing data-driven intelligence to inform sales strategies and client relationships.
• This role demands a proactive approach to identifying and implementing process improvements within the legal operations domain, particularly concerning contract management and associated analytics.
• You will act as a bridge between business needs and technical solutions, translating complex requirements into actionable plans for system configuration and development.
• The position requires a strong understanding of legal technology, including AI-powered tools for contract review and data extraction, to ensure Coinbase remains at the forefront of innovation in this space.
• You will contribute to maintaining a high level of compliance and risk mitigation through effective contract management practices.

• You will contribute to the development and maintenance of playbooks and documentation for CLM processes and reporting.
• The role involves staying abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in CLM and legal tech to ensure Coinbase's systems remain best-in-class.
• You will be a key player in driving adoption and proficiency of CLM tools across relevant teams.

🎯 Requirements

• 5 - 7+ years of proven program or project management experience, preferably within Legal Operations or a related field.
• Expert-level hands-on experience with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) systems, specifically Ironclad.
• Demonstrated experience with data management, reporting, and building data models for contracts or other structured business data.
• Strong working knowledge of legal technology, including AI tooling for contract review and data extraction and analytics (e.g., Evisort).
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience and translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Direct experience supporting a fast-paced Institutional Sales or similar B2B client-facing team, with a deep understanding of their contracting needs and priorities.
