  • • Own the full lifecycle of Search Engine Marketing (SEM) initiatives at Forbes Advisor, from initial scoping through post-launch optimisation. You will translate high-level business goals into detailed, executable project plans that drive measurable growth in the US market.
  • • Build and maintain a living roadmap that balances aggressive revenue targets with technical feasibility and brand integrity. You will sequence work across multiple verticals—Financial Services, Insurance, Home, Health, and Legal—ensuring that each campaign aligns with editorial calendars, compliance windows, and seasonal demand spikes.
  • • Drive cross-functional alignment by orchestrating daily stand-ups, fortnightly steering-committee reviews, and monthly executive briefings. You will surface risks early, negotiate trade-offs between scope, time, and budget, and secure buy-in from Marketing, Product, Engineering, Legal, and Compliance teams located in London, New York, and remote hubs.
  • • Optimise resource utilisation across internal squads and external agencies. You will forecast capacity six to twelve weeks ahead, flag bottlenecks in creative production, landing-page development, and bid-management tooling, and reallocate talent or budget to keep critical paths green.
  • • Champion data-driven decision making by embedding analytics checkpoints at every stage. You will define KPIs—CTR, CPL, ROAS, LTV—and ensure each experiment is tagged, tracked, and reported in Looker or Tableau. When metrics slip, you will lead root-cause analyses and A/B test remediation plans.
  • • Standardise and scale SEM playbooks. You will document campaign-launch checklists, creative-approval workflows, and budget-reallocation SOPs so that successful tactics can be replicated across verticals without reinventing the wheel.
  • • Manage third-party vendors—Google, Microsoft, affiliate networks, bid-platform partners—and hold them accountable to SLAs, brand-safety guidelines, and performance benchmarks. You will negotiate insertion orders, review IOs for compliance, and escalate issues before they impact revenue.
  • • Foster a culture of continuous improvement. You will run quarterly retrospectives that convert lessons learned into backlog items, mentor junior project coordinators, and evangelise Agile best practices such as story pointing, burndown tracking, and definition-of-done criteria.
  • • Serve as the single source of truth for SEM project status. You will maintain real-time dashboards in JIRA or Microsoft Project, publish weekly executive summaries, and present to Forbes’ global leadership during board-level QBRs.
  • • Ensure flawless go-to-market execution for new comparison products. You will coordinate beta launches, monitor early funnel metrics, and iterate on creative, copy, and bidding strategies until campaigns hit profitability thresholds.
  • • Balance innovation with compliance. You will partner with Legal and Risk to interpret FTC, CFPB, and state-level regulations, ensuring every ad, landing page, and email adheres to disclosure and data-handling requirements.
  • • Contribute to Forbes Advisor’s long-term vision of becoming the most trusted comparison engine in the US. Your roadmap decisions today will shape the technology stack, data partnerships, and customer experiences of tomorrow.
