• Own the end-to-end delivery of Versana’s flagship SaaS platform, orchestrating every phase from initial discovery workshops through production release and post-launch optimization. You will translate high-level business objectives into executable roadmaps, ensuring that each feature release moves the needle on transparency and velocity for the $1.2T syndicated loan market.
• Build and maintain living project charters, detailed Gantt charts, sprint backlogs, and risk registers that serve as the single source of truth for engineering, product, design, and go-to-market teams. Your artifacts will be referenced daily by C-suite executives and front-line engineers alike.
• Drive quarterly planning rituals that align engineering capacity (currently 35 FTEs across 4 scrum teams) with aggressive OKRs such as cutting settlement times by 30 % and onboarding 50 new agent banks within 12 months.
• Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and cross-team dependency syncs, removing blockers before they threaten scope, budget, or timeline. You will champion Scrum ceremonies while tailoring hybrid Kanban flows for ops-heavy workstreams.
• Serve as the primary liaison between technical squads and non-technical stakeholders—translating loan-market jargon into user stories, and conversely explaining micro-service architecture to syndication bankers in plain English. Expect to present progress to investors, rating agencies, and bank steering committees.
• Establish and monitor KPIs for predictability (velocity variance < 10 %), quality (escape defect rate < 2 %), and customer satisfaction (NPS > 60). You will own the continuous-improvement backlog and lead quarterly retrospectives that turn lessons learned into codified best practices.
• Manage vendor relationships with AWS, Snowflake, and third-party data providers; negotiate SOWs, track burn against a $3 M annual cloud budget, and ensure SOC-2 compliance across all integrations.
• Champion an experimentation culture by embedding A/B testing frameworks and feature flags into release pipelines, enabling the business to validate hypotheses on pricing models and UI workflows before full roll-out.
• Mentor junior project coordinators and scrum masters, creating career-development plans and providing hands-on coaching in story mapping, estimation, and stakeholder management.
• Contribute to Versana’s long-term technical strategy by participating in architecture review boards, evaluating build-vs-buy decisions, and assessing emerging fintech standards such as FpML and ISO 20022 for future roadmap inclusion.
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
• 5+ years proven experience as a Technical Program Manager or similar role delivering SaaS products in an agile environment
• Deep understanding of SDLC, Scrum, Kanban, and scaled agile frameworks; expert-level proficiency with JIRA, Azure DevOps, or equivalent
• Demonstrated success managing cross-functional teams of 20+ engineers and designers, delivering complex cloud-native platforms on time and within budget
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
