- • As a Programming Technical Operations Manager at MUBI Limited, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that visionary films from around the world are delivered, encoded, and made accessible to global audiences on the MUBI streaming platform, directly supporting the company’s mission to elevate great cinema.
- • You will oversee the end-to-end journey of video and subtitle assets—from contract signing to platform release—by liaising with programming leads and rightsholders, managing encoding workflows using Bitmovin and in-house FFmpeg-based tools, tracking and storing media files, and ensuring content parity across third-party platforms.
- • You will join a passionate, globally distributed team of 400 professionals dedicated to curating and distributing exceptional cinema, working from MUBI’s UK headquarters in Central London three days per week in a collaborative, mission-driven environment.
- • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in media operations, encoding technologies, and cross-functional workflow coordination while contributing to the improvement of delivery systems and gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic, innovative entertainment technology company.
🎯 Requirements
- • Solid experience handling various media types and understanding of the digital video landscape
- • Professional or personal experience with video encoding
- • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- • Expertise in Windows Operating System and related hardware
