📋 Description

• • Own the heartbeat of ON.energy’s most critical infrastructure builds. As Project Controller, you sit at the intersection of finance, engineering, and field execution, translating multi-hundred-million-dollar programs into crystal-clear schedules, budgets, and risk dashboards that guide every decision from boardroom to construction site.
• • Build and maintain integrated master schedules (IMS) for 500 MW–1 GW hyperscale campuses, layering engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and utility interconnection milestones into one living artifact that updates daily and is trusted by executives, investors, and EPC partners alike.
• • Drive Earned Value Management (EVM) discipline across the portfolio. You will baseline scope, schedule, and cost; track CPI/SPI in real time; and trigger early-warning alerts when any package—turbine skids, substations, transmission tie-ins—veers off plan, giving leadership the data to re-allocate capital or crews before slippage compounds.
• • Translate complex power-system timelines into simple, board-ready narratives. You will craft weekly executive packets, monthly investor updates, and ad-hoc scenario models that show how a two-week transformer delay ripples through COD, revenue, and carbon-offset goals.
• • Partner with Supply Chain to run Monte-Carlo risk simulations on long-lead items like hydrogen-ready turbines and 500 kV switchgear, then negotiate buffer stock, dual sourcing, or expedited freight so critical-path risk is priced and mitigated before POs are cut.
• • Embed with cross-functional squads—electrical engineers in California, construction managers in Texas, grid planners in PJM—to ensure field data (daily man-hours, percent-complete photos, test certificates) flows into Primavera P6 and Power BI without manual re-entry.
• • Champion continuous-improvement sprints that shave days off every gate. You will map current control processes, spot bottlenecks (e.g., 48-hour lag on RFQ approvals), and pilot automation—Python scripts, Smartsheet forms, or ERP webhooks—that collapses cycle time and frees engineers to solve technical problems instead of chasing spreadsheets.
• • Maintain the single source of truth for change management. When scope creep, design evolution, or regulatory rulings hit, you will log CRs, quantify cost/schedule impacts, and shepherd approvals through the CCB so budgets stay locked and stakeholders stay aligned.
• • Support fundraising and M&A due-diligence data rooms. You will spin up historical performance analytics, forecast-at-completion curves, and risk-adjusted cash-flow models that give investors confidence in ON.energy’s ability to deliver gigawatts on time and on budget.
• • Cultivate a culture of transparency and accountability. You will mentor junior planners, run lunch-and-learn sessions on P6 advanced features, and publish a monthly “Control Tower” newsletter celebrating teams that hit zero-slippage milestones.
• • Travel up to 20 % to active sites—from Nevada deserts to Gulf Coast marshlands—to validate progress, audit contractor schedules, and ensure the digital twin matches steel in the ground.
• • Ultimately, your mastery of data, process, and storytelling turns ON.energy’s audacious roadmap—10 GW deployed by 2028—into an executable, financeable reality that powers the AI revolution.
