About Tides

Tides is a nonprofit organization that operates as a philanthropic partner and accelerator for social change. Through its two main arms—Tides Foundation, which makes grants to progressive causes, and Tides Center, which provides fiscal sponsorship, incubation, and back‑office support—Tides helps donors, activists, and emerging nonprofits advance justice, equity, and sustainability. The organization offers donor‑advised funds, charitable giving platforms, consulting, and shared services, enabling partners to focus on mission rather than administration. Working across issues such as climate, racial equity, health, and human rights, Tides leverages a network of philanthropists and innovators to drive systemic impact in the social‑sector landscape.
