- • Support the Business Unit Controller in recording monthly revenue for Fee for Service and Fixed Price contracts.
- • Load and maintain project budgets, key member lists, and project data in Oracle and Revenue Wizard systems.
- • Draft monthly variance analyses comparing actual project financial results against budget and forecast.
- • Prepare monthly financial forecasts, including backlog projections, and ensure timely submission of revenue and backlog reports.
- • Perform project close-out reconciliations accurately and on schedule.
- • Review executed Work Orders and Change Orders for bonus structures or financial anomalies with guidance.
- • Collaborate with the Business Unit Controller to capture, assess, and consolidate financial results across assigned projects.
- • Draft key financial reports including annual cost and expense budgets, cost rates, utilization metrics, headcount data, revenue backlog analysis, and gross profit summaries.
- • Update predefined financial reports and dashboards to reflect current project data.
- • Attend project kick-off meetings to gather and input essential financial setup information into company systems.
- • Participate in monthly project review (MPR) meetings to validate project status, identify potential issues, and confirm forecast accuracy.
- • Monitor the financial health of assigned projects, tracking revenues, gross profit, receivables, unbilled amounts, and close-out status.
- • Ensure strict adherence to established deadlines for all financial reporting and submission requirements.
- • Maintain confidentiality and accuracy when handling sensitive financial and project data.
- • Demonstrate strong organizational skills to manage multiple concurrent tasks and meet tight deadlines.
- • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) proficiently for financial analysis and reporting.
- • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure financial data integrity across clinical and commercial projects.
- • Apply accounting principles to support financial operations within a pharmaceutical or CRO environment.
- • Adapt to evolving financial systems and reporting requirements as directed by management.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent education and experience
- • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- • Experience with Oracle Finance systems preferred
- • Minimum of 0–2 years of related experience
- • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
