📋 Description

• • Lead the strategic optimization of Niagara’s 30+ bottling lines across North America and beyond. You will own the end-to-end analytical process—collecting real-time performance data, building predictive models, and translating findings into actionable roadmaps that reduce downtime, cut waste, and elevate overall equipment effectiveness (OEE). Your insights will directly influence multi-million-dollar capital plans and shape the next generation of Niagara’s production standards.
• • Own the annual overhaul calendar for every plant. This means orchestrating 20–30 simultaneous line rebuilds, coordinating hundreds of internal mechanics, external contractors, OEM technicians, and parts suppliers to ensure each project finishes on time, on budget, and with zero safety incidents. You will serve as the on-site commander during critical shutdown windows, resolving technical bottlenecks, re-sequencing work packages, and keeping plant leadership informed hour by hour.
• • Build and mentor a high-performing team of four direct-report mechanics while also guiding an extended network of plant maintenance professionals. Through hands-on coaching, SOP development, and knowledge-sharing sessions, you will institutionalize best practices so that lessons learned in Dallas are immediately applied in Denver and Detroit.
• • Drive vendor partnerships that modernize Niagara’s automation backbone. You will evaluate emerging technologies—vision systems, IoT sensors, advanced analytics platforms—and negotiate contracts that balance cost, capability, and long-term scalability. Your recommendations will be presented to senior executives and, once approved, you will manage pilots, factory acceptance tests, and full-scale rollouts.
• • Create automated, self-updating dashboards that give plant managers, regional directors, and corporate executives a single source of truth for KPIs such as throughput, yield, changeover time, and maintenance spend. These tools will replace manual spreadsheets and enable proactive decision-making across all levels of the organization.
• • Champion continuous improvement by embedding root-cause analysis and corrective-action tracking into daily routines. You will facilitate Kaizen events, coach cross-functional teams on DMAIC methodology, and ensure every improvement is standardized and sustained.
• • Handle special assignments that require rapid, creative problem-solving—examples from the past year include orchestrating the emergency transfer of a 40-foot depalletizer from California to Florida within 72 hours, integrating new financial controls with Accounts Receivable to capture real-time project costs, and redesigning a maintenance labor model that saved 12 % in overtime spend.
• • Travel up to 100 % of the year—domestic and international—to plants, vendor facilities, and industry conferences. You will need to adapt quickly to new cultures, time zones, and regulatory environments while maintaining the stamina and flexibility to manage crises on the road.
• • Communicate relentlessly. Whether presenting to the CEO, troubleshooting with a line operator, or negotiating with a German OEM at 2 a.m., your clarity, diplomacy, and data-driven storytelling will keep stakeholders aligned and projects moving forward.
