  • • This role presents a compelling opportunity for individuals eager to master the implementation of enterprise SaaS-based software within the dynamic utilities industry. SpryPoint is seeking a Project Manager dedicated to surpassing customer expectations and driving project success. As an integral part of our rapidly expanding team, we are looking for proactive individuals who are passionate about customer satisfaction, continuously strategize for innovative approaches, identify opportunities for efficiency gains, and develop new processes to enhance our overall project outcomes.
  • • The successful candidate will dedicate the majority of their time to collaborating directly with our internal teams and our utility clients, overseeing the implementation of cutting-edge enterprise applications. As a valued member of the Project Management Office (PMO) team, you will work in close partnership with our SpryPoint customers and implementation partners to ensure the delivery of high-quality, successful projects. We are particularly interested in candidates who demonstrate a strong desire to continuously expand their knowledge base regarding SpryPoint products and the intricacies of the utilities industry.
  • • Reporting directly to the PMO, you will assume leadership responsibilities for multiple large-scale projects. Your role will encompass comprehensive management of project communications, meticulous capacity planning, proactive risk assessment and mitigation, accurate forecasting of effort and revenue, and maintaining a consistently positive and engaging presence across all your project teams. Success in this position will necessitate travel to client sites across North America. The ideal candidate must possess the ability to travel between the United States and Canada without any legal or immigration-related impediments.
  • • Key responsibilities will include:
  • • Leading and managing the end-to-end implementation lifecycle of enterprise SaaS solutions for utility clients, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • • Developing detailed project plans, including scope definition, resource allocation, task sequencing, and timeline management.
  • • Facilitating effective communication and collaboration among internal SpryPoint teams, client stakeholders, and third-party partners.
  • • Proactively identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks and issues, developing contingency plans as needed.
  • • Managing project budgets, tracking expenditures, and forecasting financial performance.
  • • Monitoring project progress, reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs), and providing regular status updates to senior management and clients.
  • • Ensuring adherence to SpryPoint's implementation methodologies and best practices.
  • • Building and maintaining strong, positive relationships with clients, fostering trust and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • • Conducting project post-mortems and identifying lessons learned to drive continuous improvement in project delivery.
  • • Staying abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies within the utilities and SaaS sectors.
  • • Mentoring and guiding junior project team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
  • • Contributing to the continuous improvement of the PMO's processes and standards.
  • • Effectively managing change requests and scope creep to maintain project integrity.
  • • Ensuring all project documentation is complete, accurate, and up-to-date.
  • • Driving the adoption of SpryPoint solutions by end-users through effective change management strategies.
  • • Collaborating with sales and account management teams to ensure smooth project handoffs and client transitions.
  • • Championing SpryPoint's values and culture throughout project engagements.
  • • Developing a deep understanding of SpryPoint's product suite and its application within the utility industry.
  • • Navigating and resolving complex challenges that arise during enterprise software implementations.
  • • Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards within the utility sector.
  • • Proactively seeking feedback from clients and internal teams to identify areas for enhancement.
  • • Contributing to the development of project management tools and templates.
  • • Effectively managing multiple projects concurrently, prioritizing tasks and resources as needed.
  • • Leading by example, demonstrating a commitment to excellence and customer success in all project activities.
  • • Facilitating workshops and training sessions for client teams as required.
  • • Ensuring the successful transition of projects to post-implementation support teams.
  • • Playing a key role in the growth and evolution of SpryPoint's PMO.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Proven experience in project management, preferably within an enterprise SaaS or software implementation environment.
  • • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and internal teams.
  • • Experience with capacity planning, risk management, and financial forecasting for projects.
  • • Ability to travel within North America (USA and Canada) as required, with no legal impediments to cross-border travel.
