- • Project Manager Applied Sciences role at Premier Inc. supports the development and utilization of common practices, methodologies, and tools across the Applied Sciences practice, with accountability for financial planning, results monitoring, and general project support activities to ensure successful delivery of project management functions for PAS research initiatives.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include managing client-facing projects from planning to execution, tracking deliverables and scope, maintaining project plans and schedules in Workday, aligning budget forecasts with actual work, tracking SME payments for Sunshine Act reporting, co-leading workgroups, and collaborating with project teams to establish initial budgets and ensure effective communication across internal and external stakeholders.
- • The role operates within Premier Inc.’s Applied Sciences (PAS) team, a healthcare-focused business unit dedicated to research initiatives, where the Project Manager works closely with Project Owners and cross-functional teams to drive process improvements, maintain standardization of tools and templates, and uphold Premier’s strategy, values, and culture of innovation and teamwork.
- • The position offers opportunities to develop expertise in healthcare project management, financial oversight including budget tracking and reconciliation, leadership in cross-functional collaboration, and proficiency in project management methodologies and tools such as Sunshine Act reporting systems, project trackers, and legal templates, while contributing to process innovation and knowledge sharing in a mission-driven organization focused on improving national health outcomes.
