- • Lead client engagements end-to-end, from kickoff through delivery and closeout, using agile, scrum, or hybrid methodologies as required by each project
- • Develop detailed project plans aligned to SOW deliverables, including scope, timelines, resources, and budget estimates
- • Manage scope against the SOW by negotiating discrepancies with clients, driving prioritization decisions, and handling change orders cleanly
- • Track and forecast engagement budgets, monitor burn rates, and protect engagement economics to avoid budget overruns
- • Own internal logistics of client engagements: coordinate time tracking inputs, invoicing, resource alignment with delivery leadership, and revenue accuracy
- • Maintain PM compliance through engagement health updates, weekly status reports, sprint reviews, and risk and issue management
- • Identify and differentiate risks from issues, and escalate appropriately within the engagement and internally at NextLink
- • Facilitate backlog creation by ensuring tickets have clear definitions, acceptance criteria, and estimates; manage delivery flow using Jira reports and team rituals
- • Serve as the client’s day-to-day point of contact for delivery, building trust through reliable communication and consistent follow-through
- • Facilitate proactive and sometimes difficult client conversations to manage expectations and address performance or scope concerns
- • Deliver against client business outcomes, not just SOW deliverables, and collaborate with Delivery and Sales teams to identify expansion opportunities
- • Observe project teams and provide timely feedback focused on maximizing client value and delivery quality
- • Contribute to the broader NextLink PM practice by developing and improving processes, templates, and cross-functional initiatives
- • Support engagement health reporting and participate in pre-sales scoping or SOW development when needed
- • Work overlapping hours with US-based teams to ensure seamless communication and alignment across time zones
- • Manage multiple concurrent client engagements with strong organizational rigor and attention to detail
- • Interface with clients at both business and technical levels to bridge communication gaps between stakeholders and delivery teams
- • Ensure all project documentation, reporting, and compliance requirements are accurately maintained throughout the engagement lifecycle
- • Coordinate closely with engineering teams to ensure delivery cadence aligns with client expectations and internal resource capacity
- • Drive clean engagement closeouts with proper documentation, lessons learned, and handover to support or follow-on teams
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of professional project management experience, including at least 3 years in a client-facing Project Manager role
- • 2+ years of experience in a consulting or professional services environment
- • Experience managing software or technology engagements with delivery teams of 5 or more
- • Ability to leverage multiple project management methodologies (agile, scrum, hybrid) to drive the best client experience
- • Experience with budget management and forecasting on client engagements, including invoicing coordination, time tracking, and revenue accuracy
- • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to run multiple concurrent client engagements
