- • Precision Medicine Group is hiring a Project Manager, Central Laboratory Services to work remotely from Poland, Serbia, Romania, Hungary, Slovakia, or the UK.
- • The role will lead new and existing CRO laboratory projects across a range of disciplines, focusing on accelerating the development and adoption of novel therapeutics.
- • This includes assay development and clinical testing, biorepository/sample management and logistics, and kitting for client studies spanning the globe.
- • The Project Manager will be client-facing, ensuring project plans are translated into action and results, requiring internal cross-functional leadership.
- • The role will lead and manage all aspects of designated protocols and be accountable for overall project performance and client satisfaction by meeting their needs and expectations throughout the lifecycle of assigned projects.
- • The Project Manager will provide internal consulting on project management issues and identify opportunities for process and efficiency improvement.
- • The role will serve as the cross-functional lead for assigned projects and monitor operational delivery progress against contracted timelines and budget.
- • The Project Manager will prepare and maintain process documents and mentor junior Project Managers.
- • The role will lead projects from conception through close-out, ensuring detailed planning and execution, risk management, communication and stakeholder management, scope and cost control.
- • The Project Manager will work on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations and/or data requires a review of a variety of factors.
- • The role will navigate ambiguity and have a system and process solution mindset to support growth and continuous improvement.
- • The Project Manager will develop professional expertise, apply company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues.
- • The role will build productive internal/external working relationships.
- • The Project Manager will normally receive general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new projects or assignments.
- • The role will exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
- • The Project Manager will create and manage project timelines, budgets and revenue goals, forecasting, resource plans, while comparing to contracted project scope(s), fully exploring new ideas that optimize quality and efficiency.
- • The role will maintain detailed daily coordination and supervision of scheduled activities, delegating responsibilities to carry out contracted work activities, as appropriate.
- • The Project Manager will be the face of the company and key partner to clients and collaborators, effectively leading implementation of new and ongoing studies.
- • The role will coordinate the development and implementation of new projects.
- • The Project Manager will create, track, and report on project timelines.
- • The role will communicate with clients and collaborators with regards to data management, inventory control, shipping procedures, etc. for all assigned areas.
- • The Project Manager will respond in a timely manner to all events.
- • The role will coordinate data gathering.
- • The Project Manager will prepare and present project information at internal and external meetings; prepare reports and correspondences to clients, collaborators, and vendors.
- • The role will meet all revenue objectives assigned to projects, project expenses, and client billing.
- • The Project Manager will evaluate contract/project budgets monthly and report unexpected variances to department director.
- • The role will create/track/report relevant metrics for business and project measurement.
- • The Project Manager will assist senior staff, as required.
- • The role will identify out of scope project work; escalate findings and action plans to appropriate parties.
- • The Project Manager will manage all tasks in an efficient and timely manner, ensuring client expectations are met and are delighted.
- • The role will review, update, and evolve all documentation associated with project(s) to approvable status.
- • The Project Manager will assess and mitigate technical, project, and business risks.
- • The role will ensure that work product complies with design and performance standards, regulatory environment and client expectations.
- • The Project Manager will enforce standards applicable to each step in project execution.
- • The role will identify, resolve, and assist in resolution of operational issues.
- • The Project Manager will monitor assignments and adjust priorities and work schedule to meet deadlines and provide high quality deliverables.
- • The role will complete other responsibilities, as assigned.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor's degree in a life science or related field (e.g. engineering)
- • Must have experience working as a Project Manager for Central Laboratories either for a CRO, Pharmaceutical or Biotech company.
- • Excellent listening and communication skills, has an uncanny ability to make internal colleagues and clients feel understood
