📋 Description

• Lead and deliver strategic technology projects within BTSE’s Data Platform team, ensuring timely and high-quality execution across cross-functional teams.
• Coordinate resources, timelines, and deliverables for software development initiatives focused on data infrastructure, pipelines, and platform enhancements.
• Facilitate communication between engineering, data, product, and operations teams to maintain alignment on project goals and priorities.
• Monitor project progress using established methodologies and tools, identifying and mitigating risks that could impact timelines or deliverables.
• Track project metrics and report status updates to stakeholders, providing transparency on scope, schedule, and resource utilization.
• Ensure adherence to internal processes and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle, from initiation to closure.
• Manage dependencies between internal teams and external vendors to maintain momentum and avoid bottlenecks in project delivery.
• Support the implementation of technical solutions without defining product requirements or feature specifications—focus remains on execution and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineering leads to prioritize tasks, allocate bandwidth, and resolve blockers affecting project timelines.
• Maintain documentation of project plans, decisions, and outcomes to ensure knowledge continuity and process improvement.
• Adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced fintech environment where data platform needs evolve with market demands.
• Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives to support agile delivery practices within the data engineering team.
• Act as the central point of contact for project-related inquiries, ensuring all stakeholders receive consistent and accurate updates.
• Drive accountability by setting clear expectations, tracking commitments, and following up on action items across teams.
• Work closely with QA and DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration, testing, and deployment of data platform features.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of project management practices by identifying inefficiencies and proposing actionable solutions.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in software development or data platform environments
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and agile methodologies
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional teams in fast-paced tech settings
• Experience managing technical projects with clear focus on execution, not product definition
• Proficiency in project tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Trello) and reporting systems
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
