Full Job Description

đź“‹ Description

  • • The Project Manager - Diligence & Integrations role is critical to Compass Surgical Partners’ ability to execute high-stakes healthcare transactions with precision, ensuring that every deal is supported by thorough, risk-informed diligence and seamless integration planning. This position directly enables the company’s mission to build and manage high-performing ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs) by providing the operational backbone that turns complex deal data into clear, actionable intelligence for executives, investors, and clinical partners.
  • • You will be the central nervous system of multiple concurrent transactions, owning the end-to-end lifecycle of diligence requests, data tracking, risk identification, and reporting — transforming raw inputs from clinical, financial, HR, IT, and compliance teams into executive-ready insights that drive faster, safer, and more informed deal decisions.
  • • Day to day, you will manage and maintain Diligence Data Request Lists (DDRLs) across active deals, ensuring no request falls through the cracks by tracking progress, identifying gaps, and escalating risks to functional leads; you will synthesize complex, multi-source data into clear summaries, risk heatmaps, and stoplight reports for weekly status updates and executive briefings.
  • • You will design and standardize diligence frameworks, checklists, and playbooks to create repeatable, scalable processes — implementing version control, data organization protocols, and workflow best practices that reduce errors and increase speed across teams.
  • • You will build and optimize command centers in Excel and Smartsheet, automate dashboards and completion metrics, manage data rooms (Firmex, DealRoom, etc.), and ensure tools are intuitive and accessible to internal teams, external advisors, and leadership.
  • • You will serve as the primary coordinator between internal functions (clinical ops, finance, HR, IT, legal) and external advisors, facilitating communication, tracking dependencies, managing action items, and supporting post-close integration by monitoring workstreams and mitigation efforts.
  • • You will join a mission-driven team at Compass Surgical Partners, a leader in ASC development and management with over 250 ASCs built across three decades, where STAR values — Service, Teamwork, Accountability, and Respect — guide collaboration in a fast-paced, high-impact environment focused on improving patient and provider outcomes.
  • • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in healthcare transaction diligence, master advanced project management tools in a PE/MSO/ASC context, and gain visibility into how strategic partnerships are structured, executed, and scaled — positioning you for growth into senior project, program, or operations leadership within healthcare investing or operations.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 5–10+ years of experience in healthcare operations, consulting, or transaction support, preferably in private equity, management services organization (MSO), or ambulatory surgery center (ASC) environments
  • • Proven experience managing diligence processes, reporting, dashboards, and large-scale cross-functional projects involving multiple stakeholders and data sources
  • • Advanced Excel skills and hands-on experience with Smartsheet or data room platforms such as Firmex, DealRoom, or similar virtual data room (VDR) systems
  • • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a track record of synthesizing complex, multi-disciplinary data into clear, actionable insights and risk-based recommendations
  • • Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills, with demonstrated success in fast-paced, multi-deal environments requiring precision and stakeholder alignment

🏖️ Benefits

  • • Opportunity to work remotely with a leading national ASC development and management partner backed by decades of transactional success
  • • Exposure to high-impact healthcare deals and direct collaboration with executive leadership, investors, and physician partners
  • • Professional growth through mastery of diligence frameworks, data visualization tools, and standardized processes in a scalable, values-driven organization
  • • Supportive team culture grounded in STAR values (Service, Teamwork, Accountability, Respect) that emphasizes directness, kindness, and ownership
  • • Access to performance-based bonus potential and transparent compensation discussions aligned with experience, qualifications, and individual and company performance
