• Join Steer Health as a pivotal Healthcare IT Implementation Manager, a remote role focused on driving the successful deployment of our cutting-edge healthcare technology solutions across the United States. In this critical position, you will be the linchpin connecting our innovative platform with the complex needs of healthcare providers, ensuring seamless integration, robust interoperability, and ultimately, enhanced patient care.
• You will orchestrate and manage the entire lifecycle of healthcare IT implementations, from initial client onboarding and requirements gathering through to system configuration, testing, training, go-live, and post-implementation support. This involves meticulous planning, proactive risk management, and unwavering attention to detail to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.
• A core aspect of your role will be to deeply understand the unique workflows, challenges, and strategic objectives of our diverse healthcare clients. You will translate these insights into actionable implementation plans, leveraging your expertise in healthcare IT systems, data exchange standards (such as HL7, FHIR), and interoperability frameworks to design solutions that are both effective and sustainable.
• You will serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the implementation process, building strong, collaborative relationships based on trust, transparency, and exceptional communication. This includes managing expectations, facilitating productive discussions, and ensuring all stakeholders are aligned and informed at every stage.
• Your responsibilities will extend to leading cross-functional internal teams, including technical specialists, product experts, and customer success managers, to ensure coordinated and efficient project execution. You will foster a collaborative environment, delegate tasks effectively, and hold team members accountable for their contributions.

• You will be responsible for developing and delivering comprehensive training programs to client staff, empowering them to effectively utilize the Steer Health platform and maximize its benefits. This includes creating user-friendly training materials and adapting your approach to suit different learning styles.
• Your success will be measured by key performance indicators such as client satisfaction, project completion rates, adherence to timelines and budgets, and the successful adoption of our technology. You will actively track project progress, identify areas for improvement, and report on key metrics to senior management.
• You will play a crucial role in the pre-sales process by providing implementation expertise, assisting with scoping, and contributing to proposal development when required, ensuring realistic timelines and resource allocations are presented.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience (5+ years) managing complex, end-to-end technology implementations, with a significant focus on the healthcare sector.
• Deep understanding of healthcare IT ecosystems, including EMR/EHR systems, practice management software, and clinical workflows.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare data exchange standards (HL7 v2/v3, FHIR) and interoperability principles.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a track record of successful on-time and on-budget delivery.
• Excellent client-facing communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and manage expectations effectively.
