- • The Project Manager II role at SHI International Corp. is a critical mid-level position responsible for leading cross-functional technology projects that deliver IT infrastructure, cloud, and services solutions to commercial and enterprise customers. This role ensures projects are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with customer outcomes while maintaining rigorous governance and stakeholder alignment across sales, engineering, operations, and vendor teams.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include leading end-to-end project planning, execution, and delivery; developing and maintaining detailed project plans with scope, schedule, milestones, resource allocation, dependencies, and risk/issue logs; facilitating regular project meetings, documenting decisions and action items, and ensuring stakeholder follow-through; coordinating with sales, solutions architects, engineering, operations, and vendor partners to confirm requirements, timelines, and handoffs; tracking project financials including estimates, purchase orders, invoices, and margin impacts, escalating variances and recommending corrective actions; communicating project status clearly and accessibly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders at all organizational levels; identifying and managing risks and issues, proposing mitigation plans, and driving timely resolution; ensuring adherence to established PMO standards, governance, and documentation practices; and supporting continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and recommending enhancements to delivery processes and tools.

- • In this role, the Project Manager II will develop advanced expertise in managing technology projects within a dynamic reseller channel environment, strengthen leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills, gain deep exposure to IT infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, and managed services domains, and build credibility through successful delivery of projects that directly impact customer business outcomes—positioning them for advancement into senior project management or program leadership roles within SHI’s growing PMO.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3–5 years of experience managing technology or IT services projects, preferably in a reseller, MSP, VAR, or systems integrator environment
- • Proven ability to own small to mid-sized projects independently, from initiation through closeout
- • Professional project management certification (PMP) required
- • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience
- • Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., MS Project or equivalent, Jira, Smartsheet, Asana, or similar; plus Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams/Zoom)
- • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical details into clear business language
