• • The Project Manager role in Guidewire's Industry Innovation & Co-Development Group (InnoCoDev) is a foundational position focused on delivering smaller, contained projects while building the skills needed to advance toward an Engagement Manager role. This role is critical to accelerating industry-wide solutions through strategic co-development partnerships with key customers, directly supporting Guidewire’s mission to demonstrate the unique value of its Professional Services team and capture premium service opportunities.
• • Day to day, the Project Manager will manage project timelines, deliverables, and customer scope to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. This includes coordinating across internal teams (Product Development, Sales, Customer Success), developing strong client relationships, presenting status reports, managing global teams and vendors, tracking progress, monitoring budgets and schedules, identifying and mitigating risks, and implementing changes as needed to meet project objectives.
• • The InnoCoDev team operates as a dedicated strategic function within Guidewire’s Professional Services division, working closely with Product Development, Sales, and Customer Success. The team functions as a SWAT unit to identify, cultivate, and operationalize co-development partnerships, leveraging Guidewire’s platform expertise to drive innovation in the P&C insurance industry. Guidewire is a trusted platform for over 540+ insurers across 40 countries, known for its implementation track record of 1600+ successful projects, supported by a large R&D team and partner ecosystem.
• • In this role, the individual will develop core project management competencies, business acumen, and deep knowledge of Guidewire’s product suite, cloud solutions, and the insurance industry. They will build skills in stakeholder management, risk assessment, and strategic planning while receiving mentorship from senior leaders (Engagement Managers, Principals, Partners). The role is designed to prepare candidates for progression to the Engagement Manager role by fostering initiative, solution-selling alignment, and expertise in matching customer needs with Guidewire Services.
