📋 Description
- • Eyt is revolutionizing consumer credit by leveraging technology to unlock the value of people's assets, making capital more accessible and affordable. Our flagship product, the world's most cost-effective credit card, is backed by home equity and utilizes patented technologies to streamline a process that traditionally takes weeks and significant expense into a matter of minutes with minimal cost. We are a well-funded company, having secured over $250 million in equity funding, and our team comprises seasoned executives from leading technology firms such as Square, Microsoft, and Facebook, as well as finance giants like Discover, Capital One, and Goldman Sachs. Our investors include prominent names like Founders Fund, Khosla Ventures, Max Levchin, NYCA, Sequoia, SciFi VC, and Caffeinated Capital. The collective expertise within our team spans the development of critical financial products like Square CashApp and early Capital One credit cards, the creation of impactful consumer products such as Internet.org and Xbox, the design of robust technology infrastructure including Visual Studio, Windows, and Azure, and even contributions to foundational programming languages like C and C++. Furthermore, our team members have engaged in advanced mathematical and scientific research, including computational research at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory.
- • We are driven by a mission to solve significant problems through technology, aiming to build products that can serve as essential infrastructure for society. We firmly believe that reducing the cost of capital for consumers is one such critical problem, and successfully addressing it has the potential for an immeasurable positive impact on individuals' lives.
- • We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Manager and Technical Writer to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in structuring information, developing clear and effective documentation, and ensuring the smooth progression of complex initiatives. You will operate at the nexus of project coordination, technical writing, and systems thinking, collaborating closely with diverse cross-functional teams. Your primary responsibility will be to transform ambiguous inputs into well-defined plans, comprehensive documents, and practical processes that are readily adopted and utilized by our teams. This position is ideally suited for an individual who possesses a natural inclination to think critically before acting, consistently seeks clarification through insightful questions, actively seeks to improve existing processes rather than merely adhering to them, and derives satisfaction from simplifying and enhancing clarity and efficiency in all endeavors.
- • Key Responsibilities:
- • Project & Process Management:
- • Take ownership of documentation-intensive projects from their initial conception through to successful completion, ensuring all milestones are met and objectives are achieved.
- • Deconstruct ambiguous requests and complex problems into clearly defined scopes, realistic timelines, and actionable deliverables, providing a roadmap for project success.
- • Diligently track project progress, identify critical dependencies, and proactively manage potential risks across multiple concurrent initiatives, ensuring no detail is overlooked.
- • Anticipate and identify potential gaps, inefficiencies, or areas of unclear ownership within projects and processes, implementing solutions before they become significant issues.
- • Maintain consistent stakeholder alignment by providing clear, concise, and timely updates, supported by comprehensive documentation that reflects project status and decisions.
- • Writing & Documentation:
- • Create, meticulously organize, and consistently maintain a wide array of internal documentation, including but not limited to process documents, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Product Requirements Documents (PRDs), project briefs, decision logs, and comprehensive knowledge base articles.
- • Transform raw notes, informal conversations, and nascent ideas into structured, coherent, and easily readable documents that accurately capture intent and information.
- • Critically edit and enhance existing documentation to ensure maximum clarity, accuracy, and usability, making information accessible and actionable for all relevant parties.
- • Establish, implement, and enforce robust documentation standards and templates across the organization, promoting consistency and quality in all written materials.
- • Organization & Systems Thinking:
- • Design and implement logical folder structures, intuitive naming conventions, and effective version control practices to ensure information is easily retrievable and manageable.
- • Guarantee that all documents are readily findable, easily understandable, and consistently kept up-to-date, fostering an environment of informed decision-making.
- • Apply critical thinking to analyze and understand how information flows across different teams and departments, identifying opportunities for optimization.
- • Proactively recommend and implement new tools or workflow enhancements to improve overall documentation management and project tracking efficiency.
