- • As the Project Schedule Manager in Gevo Inc.'s Industrial Segment of Steam Power Services, you will serve as the 'logical engine' behind operations, ensuring reliable maintenance, repair, and upgrade of steam turbines and generators for industrial partners such as pulp and paper, chemical, refining, and waste-to-energy plants.
- • Day to day, you will collaborate with Commercial, Technical/Engineering, and Operations/Field Services teams to translate complex service scopes into executable project timelines using Microsoft Project, develop and modify schedules for job cost estimates, manage critical paths during execution, maintain standardized schedule templates, and conduct post-outage plan vs. actual analysis to drive continuous improvement.
- • You will join a specialized team within Gevo Inc.'s Steam Power Industrial Segment focused on delivering precision scheduling for high-stakes industrial outages where downtime carries significant financial implications for customers, requiring close alignment across commercial, technical, and field operations.
- • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in industrial project scheduling, gain experience applying Lean principles to workflow optimization, strengthen your ability to bridge office and field teams through communication, and directly impact customer satisfaction and service profitability by minimizing downtime through scheduling precision.
🎯 Requirements
- • Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Project with ability to manage complex dependencies, resource loading, and baseline tracking
- • Minimum of 5 years experience in Industrial Services, Power Generation, or Heavy Mechanical sectors
- • Strong interpersonal skills to bridge office-based commercial teams and site-based technical teams
- • Ability to convert scope of work documents into detailed Work Breakdown Structures (WBS)
- • Understanding of the high-pressure nature of industrial outages and critical path management
