📋 Description
- • As a Project Supply Chain Manager at Hitachi Energy UK Limited, you will lead and optimise end-to-end supply chain operations across complex, high-value project portfolios, ensuring materials are delivered on time, at the right cost, and to the highest quality standards.
- • You will develop and implement project-specific supply chain strategies, manage supplier selection and contracts, monitor supplier performance, forecast material needs, mitigate risks, optimise logistics, ensure compliance, generate performance reports, and lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals.
- • You will join Hitachi Energy, a global leader in sustainable energy solutions, dedicated to fostering an inclusive workplace where innovation thrives through professional development, Employee Resource Groups, and a supportive culture.
- • In this role, you will drive tangible value by streamlining supply chain processes, reducing risks, improving efficiency, and contributing to the success of critical energy projects while developing leadership and strategic supply chain expertise.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
- • Proven experience in supply chain management with at least 3 years in a project-oriented environment
- • Proven track record managing complex supply chains for large-scale industrial or energy projects
- • Proficiency in supply chain management software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP)
- • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities
- • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CIPS, APICS) are a plus
