- • Handle escalated property claims involving complex contents or additional living expense damages entirely from a virtual setting.
- • Conduct thorough coverage investigations to ensure accurate application of insurance policies to each claim.
- • Utilize advanced video technology to collaborate with onsite vendors and assess damages remotely for accurate contents damage estimates.
- • Communicate empathetically with policyholders via phone, email, and video chat to guide them through the claims process in a fast, fair, and easy manner.
- • Negotiate claim settlements with customers, vendors, third-party carriers, and claimants in alignment with business unit methodologies and legal standards.
- • Coordinate closely with structure adjusters to ensure comprehensive and unified handling of entire claim files.
- • Leverage data and analytics to interpret claim patterns, support decision-making, and improve claim outcomes.
- • Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the company’s claims system to protect the company financially and ensure compliance.
- • Work Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with rotational weekend duty and occasional extended hours as needed to serve customers during times of need.
- • Perform occasional onsite inspections in the field when required.
- • Operate independently from home using provided technology, including a laptop, monitors, headset, keyboard, and mouse.
- • Maintain a dedicated, private workspace free from distractions with reliable internet (minimum 50 MB download and 5 MB upload speeds).
- • Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills using estimating tools, job aids, and settlement platforms to resolve complex claims.
- • Demonstrate strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple high-priority claims simultaneously.
- • Adhere to Allstate’s Claims Culture by leading with empathy, empowering policyholders, and restoring their sense of security.
- • Follow all licensing requirements, including obtaining an adjuster and/or appraiser license within 60 days of hire if mandated by your area.
🎯 Requirements
- • Valid driver’s license
- • Residency within specified locations: Chicago, IL; Baton Rouge, LA; Missouri; Minnesota; Wisconsin; Iowa; Arkansas; Oklahoma; Kansas; Nebraska; or Alabama
- • Ability to obtain and maintain an adjuster and/or appraiser license within 60 days of hire, if required by local regulations
