  • • As a Property Claims Bill Review Auditor at Sedgwick Claims Management Services, Inc., you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and compliant payment processing for property, liability, and catastrophe (CAT) claims by reviewing Independent Adjuster and Non-Legal Vendor invoices against client-specific billing guidelines, rate schedules, and Generally Accepted Principles and Standards (GAPS). This role directly supports clients across insurance carriers, corporate legal departments, and government entities by safeguarding financial integrity and promoting fair, transparent claims adjudication.
  • • Day-to-day responsibilities include interpreting and applying complex client billing guidelines and standards to vendor invoices; collaborating with clients to refine and enhance billing protocols; communicating clearly and professionally with vendors to resolve discrepancies and ensure compliance; managing end-to-end invoice workflows to maintain timely processing; independently reviewing, finalizing, and approving invoices for payment in alignment with contractual terms; consistently meeting or exceeding company-established production and quality benchmarks; and collaborating with team members to achieve shared operational goals while maintaining high accuracy and audit readiness.

🎯 Requirements

  • • High school diploma or equivalent is required; Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation and applicable Provincial Insurance License(s) are strongly preferred.
  • • Proven experience in on-site claims adjusting or as a Claims Professional with an insurance/reinsurance carrier, broker, or third-party administrator (TPA), with preferred background in property, liability, and/or catastrophe (CAT) claims.
  • • Excellent oral and written communication skills; proficiency in PC use and Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook); strong analytical and interpretive abilities; excellent organizational and interpersonal skills; and demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
