- • As a Proposal Specialist at Vision Service Plan (VSP), you will be instrumental in crafting compelling and strategic proposals that drive business growth and secure new opportunities. This role is pivotal in responding to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for clients and prospects across various strategic business units, ensuring VSP's offerings are presented in the most effective and competitive light.
- • You will serve as the primary strategist for proposal development, leading critical RFP strategy meetings. These meetings will bring together key stakeholders from corporate departments and field business partners, including senior-level management, to collaboratively define the winning approach for each proposal.
- • Your responsibilities will extend to managing multiple concurrent RFP processes, often requiring coordination with external resources and collaboration across different divisions. The goal is to produce proposals that are not only compliant with all RFP requirements but also highly persuasive and tailored to the specific needs and attributes of each client.
- • Acting as the project manager for each proposal, you will consult with corporate and division partners to develop content that resonates with the target audience and highlights VSP's unique value proposition. This involves a deep understanding of VSP's products, services, and competitive landscape.
- • A key aspect of this role is the meticulous evaluation and interpretation of RFP requirements and questions. You will need to navigate and effectively utilize client-required systems, such as online RFP applications, ensuring accuracy and adherence to submission guidelines.
