- • Build, maintain, and test core components of the Injective blockchain protocol built on Cosmos-SDK, including the decentralized order book, trade execution coordinator, order matcher, and Layer-2 execution environment.
- • Develop and optimize key blockchain infrastructure components such as consensus mechanisms, state management, and financial infrastructure applications.
- • Write open-source Golang clients that enable direct user interaction with Injective’s protocol and smart contracts.
- • Contribute to the research and development of new blockchain features and technologies to enhance the platform’s capabilities and scalability.
- • Improve chain performance and scalability through kvstore optimization, processing logic enhancements, and order matching engine refinements.
- • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including front-end developers, back-end developers, and QA engineers to deliver integrated blockchain solutions.
- • Engage with external partners and open-source communities to expand and strengthen the Injective blockchain ecosystem.
- • Work within a global, highly-skilled development team to brainstorm, write technical specifications, implement features, and conduct rigorous testing of DeFi modules.
- • Ensure all protocol-level code adheres to high standards of security, performance, and maintainability in a production blockchain environment.
- • Participate in technical discussions and documentation efforts to communicate complex blockchain concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- • Stay current with advancements in DeFi, DEX architectures, consensus algorithms, and interoperability protocols across Ethereum, Cosmos, and Solana.
- • Contribute to the ongoing evolution of Injective’s proprietary DeFi primitives, including the world’s first fully on-chain order book.
- • Maintain and extend the financial infrastructure that supports high-throughput, low-latency trading operations on a public blockchain.
- • Apply strong computer science fundamentals in data structures, API design, and parallel processing to solve distributed system challenges.
- • Actively identify performance bottlenecks and propose data-driven improvements to core protocol components.
🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Blockchain Engineer
- • Prior experience working in trading or in an exchange
- • Worked on at least two production Golang codebases that are reasonably large and performant
- • Strong knowledge of Go idioms, libraries and parallel processing
- • Strong knowledge of blockchain, DeFi & DEX concepts, consensus mechanisms, CosmWasm contract platform
- • Strong knowledge of CS fundamentals such as data structures and API design
