- • As a Provider Contract Specialist (Field Remote) at Alignment Healthcare, you will play a critical role in expanding and strengthening the provider network to support seniors and chronically ill patients, directly contributing to the company’s mission of putting the senior first by ensuring access to quality care.
- • Day to day, you will identify, recruit, and contract with providers in the Charlotte, NC market, negotiating contract terms, handling redlined language, drafting agreements, managing documentation, tracking contract data using Excel (including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs), and conducting approximately 20% local office visits with mileage reimbursement while working remotely the rest of the time.

🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum 5 years’ experience in provider relations / contracting with an HMO or IPA, medical group or institutional provider
- • High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree or four years additional experience in lieu of education
- • Proficiency in MS Word and Excel required; Access database proficiency preferred
- • Strong analytic, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
- • Strong verbal and written communication skills
- • Strong presentation skills and ability to address diverse audiences effectively
