  • • As a Solace Psychiatrist, you will play a critical role in transforming healthcare access by building strong, empathetic relationships with patients navigating complex behavioral health and social needs, directly contributing to Solace’s mission of cutting through healthcare red tape to improve patient outcomes.
  • • You will collaborate closely with healthcare advocates to design and deliver personalized advocacy experiences that integrate clinical expertise with social support, ensuring patients receive holistic care that addresses both medical and social determinants of health.
  • • Day to day, you will learn and master Solace’s proprietary systems, tools, and partner networks while applying your clinical judgment in every patient interaction to maintain high standards of care and documentation.
  • • You will conduct initial psychiatric evaluations for patients with behavioral health and advocacy needs, using your expertise to assess mental health status, risk factors, and care priorities in a timely and compassionate manner.
  • • You will identify and prioritize patients’ multifaceted needs—including clinical, social, and environmental factors—and work to maintain a seamless, coordinated care continuum that prevents gaps in support.
  • • In partnership with healthcare advocates, you will oversee and refine individualized care plans that holistically address social determinants of health such as food insecurity, transportation barriers, housing instability, and lack of home support, ensuring interventions are practical, sustainable, and patient-centered.
  • • You will actively contribute to the development and iteration of Solace’s emerging patient care program, providing clinical insights that shape protocols, workflows, and best practices to better serve vulnerable populations.
  • • You will communicate clearly and empathetically with patients, advocates, and internal teams, ensuring all interactions are grounded in active listening, cultural humility, and trauma-informed care.
  • • You will embrace Solace’s fast-paced, mission-driven culture by demonstrating bias toward action, adaptability to change, and a commitment to continuous improvement through feedback and iteration.
  • • You will join a lean, intensely focused, and rapidly growing Series C startup team backed by top-tier venture capital, where your work directly impacts the evolution of a national patient advocacy platform aiming to redefine healthcare access in the U.S.
  • • In this role, you will have the opportunity to stretch your clinical and systems-thinking abilities, sharpen your advocacy skills, and do the most meaningful work of your career by helping to build a healthcare model that puts patients at the center—while growing professionally alongside a team that values urgency, precision, and heart.
