📋 Description
- • As a Psychiatrist (MD/DO) at Blossom Health, you will play a pivotal role in addressing the national mental health crisis by delivering accessible, high-quality psychiatric care through a modern telehealth platform designed to empower providers with autonomy and clinical excellence.
- • You will conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments for diverse patient populations, develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans, and provide ongoing mental health counseling and therapy sessions via secure video visits, ensuring continuity of care and therapeutic alliance in a virtual setting.
- • You will prescribe and manage psychopharmacological treatments with precision, monitor medication efficacy and side effects, adjust regimens as clinically indicated, and maintain meticulous, HIPAA-compliant medical documentation to support insurance billing, continuity of care, and regulatory adherence.
- • You will collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams — including therapists, case managers, and primary care providers — to ensure holistic, coordinated patient care, leveraging Blossom Health’s integrated platform to share insights and optimize outcomes.

🎯 Requirements
- • Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree with active, board certification in Psychiatry from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) or equivalent.
- • Valid, unrestricted state medical license to practice psychiatry in the state(s) where telehealth services will be delivered.
- • Current DEA registration and, where applicable, state Controlled Dangerous Substance (CDS) number for prescribing controlled substances.
- • Active individual professional liability insurance coverage meeting or exceeding Blossom Health’s minimum requirements.
- • Demonstrated experience conducting psychiatric evaluations, prescribing psychotropic medications, and providing psychotherapy in outpatient or telehealth settings.
- • Proficiency with telehealth platforms and electronic health record (EHR) systems, or ability to quickly learn Blossom Health’s integrated digital tools.
