📋 Description

• • As a Public Affairs Manager at Flock Safety, you will serve as a key external representative of the company, engaging with local elected officials, community leaders, and grassroots organizations to advance public safety initiatives and strengthen Flock’s presence in the Denver, CO region. This role is critical to building trust, shaping policy conversations, and amplifying the impact of Flock’s safety technology in communities that rely on proactive crime prevention.
• • You will regularly speak at city council meetings, testify before local government bodies, and deliver clear, compelling presentations to both technical and non-technical audiences, translating complex safety solutions into accessible narratives that resonate with diverse stakeholders.
• • Your day-to-day responsibilities include researching and monitoring local legislative initiatives, building and nurturing relationships with mayors, council members, city managers, and influential community organizations, and identifying opportunities to form strategic partnerships that align with Flock’s mission and policy goals.
• • You will collaborate closely with internal teams — including sales, product, legal, and executive leadership — to ensure your public affairs efforts support regional sales objectives and contribute to a unified go-to-market strategy.
• • You will develop and execute communications plans to maintain consistent engagement with stakeholders, prepare testimony and advocacy materials, and represent Flock at public forums, hearings, and community events as a trusted voice on safety innovation.
• • Over time, you will deepen your expertise in Flock’s hardware and software suite, gaining full product literacy to confidently discuss how our tools empower law enforcement, schools, businesses, and neighborhoods to enhance safety while protecting privacy.
