📋 Description

• The Public Safety Software Application Specialist manages deployment processes for Motorola’s public safety and command center software suite within complex software ecosystems for public safety agencies, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance of mission-critical solutions.
• Day to day, the role involves leading operational assessments and business process reviews, conducting interviews with subject matter experts, evaluating workflows for improvement, designing and delivering training programs, facilitating User Acceptance Testing, acting as a liaison between technical teams and customers, supporting project management efforts, and presenting findings to stakeholders to drive informed decision-making.
• The role sits within the Command Center Software Deployment, Managed and Support Services team, which delivers technology solutions to public safety agencies to enable faster, smarter, and safer emergency response operations through products like 911 systems, Computer Aided Dispatch, Records Management, and Mobile Data Computing.
• In this role, the individual will develop deep expertise in public safety technology ecosystems, strengthen business analysis and process reengineering skills, gain experience in end-to-end software deployment lifecycles, and build stakeholder management and training delivery capabilities while contributing to mission-critical community safety outcomes.

🎯 Requirements

• High School diploma, Associates, or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Project Management, or 3 years of experience in a Public Safety Information technology environment
• 3+ years’ experience in Public Safety, Business Analysis, Field Service, CAD, Record Management Systems, or Jail Applications
• Must be able to obtain a background clearance as required by government customers
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required; employer work permit sponsorship is not available
