- • As a Public Sector Account Executive at SHI International Corp., you will be at the forefront of driving technological transformation within government and educational institutions. Your primary mission is to leverage SHI's extensive value proposition to consistently surpass ambitious revenue and profit targets. This role demands a strategic mindset, exceptional relationship-building skills, and a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities within the public sector.
- • You will be responsible for developing and executing penetrating sales strategies, crafting compelling pricing proposals, and identifying new business opportunities within both existing and prospective client accounts. This involves a proactive approach to sales, including targeted outreach, networking, and cultivating strong, lasting relationships with key stakeholders.
- • A critical aspect of this role is the ability to identify and nurture opportunities within the sales pipeline, ensuring a robust flow of business to meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales objectives. You will work closely with sales management to strategize, manage, and close deals, demonstrating a consistent ability to achieve and surpass performance metrics.
- • Success in this position hinges on your capacity to build and foster proactive partnerships. This includes close collaboration with internal SHI support teams – such as technical specialists, solution architects, and service delivery managers – as well as external industry partners and manufacturers. These collaborations are essential for driving joint selling initiatives and ensuring a seamless, comprehensive client experience.
- • A deep understanding of your clients' business objectives, IT priorities, and strategic initiatives is paramount. You will act as a trusted advisor, translating their needs into tailored SHI solutions that address their specific challenges and support their mission-critical operations.
- • You will be adept at positioning and effectively communicating SHI's vast portfolio of products, cutting-edge solutions, value-added services, and unique capabilities. This requires a nuanced understanding of how SHI can deliver tangible value and drive innovation for public sector organizations.
- • Staying informed about SHI's competitive landscape is crucial. You will need to articulate SHI's distinct advantages, effectively showcase our offerings, and defend our value proposition to win new business against competitors.
- • Building and maintaining strong cross-departmental relationships within SHI is key to leveraging the full breadth of our expertise. Engaging with extended SHI support teams will enable you to identify new business avenues and effectively utilize available resources to serve clients.
- • You will play a vital role in building SHI's market awareness within the public sector. This includes active participation in local and regional industry events, professional organizations, and relevant affiliations, representing SHI as a leader in technology solutions.
- • Continuous professional development is a cornerstone of this role. You must remain current on evolving industry trends, emerging technologies, new product offerings, and dynamic market conditions to maintain a competitive edge and provide the most relevant solutions to your clients.
- • This role requires a proactive and self-motivated individual who can independently manage their territory, identify opportunities, and drive sales growth. You will need to demonstrate strong business acumen, an understanding of consultative sales methodologies, and the ability to effectively present solutions and negotiate terms.
- • The ability to excel in a team selling environment is important, as you will collaborate with various internal stakeholders to deliver comprehensive solutions. You will be expected to continually meet or exceed sales targets, demonstrating expertise in client relationship building, new business development, and proficient account management.
- • Furthermore, a solid understanding of business operations and strategy will enable you to align SHI's offerings with the broader goals of public sector organizations. Your success will be measured by your ability to consistently drive revenue growth, expand SHI's footprint within the public sector, and foster long-term, mutually beneficial client relationships.
