- • As a Python Back-End Developer at Sunrise United States Inc., you will play a key role in scaling the digital sleep clinic by building and improving back-end systems that are robust, secure, and compliant with healthcare standards.
- • You will work closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to design, build, and maintain reliable backend services using Python, Django, and related technologies; create and evolve RESTful APIs; monitor and resolve performance bottlenecks; contribute to technical architecture; and implement security best practices to protect sensitive health data in compliance with HIPAA and GDPR.
- • The team consists of 10 developers (juniors and seniors) working remotely across France and Belgium, valuing trust, autonomy, collaboration, and a healthy work-life balance while delivering impactful healthcare solutions.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in healthcare technology, contribute to scalable and secure systems, and grow professionally by tackling complex challenges in API development, cloud infrastructure, and regulatory compliance within a mission-driven startup environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
- • +5 years of professional experience as a Back-end Developer
- • +2 years of hands-on experience in Python
- • Experience with Django, including Django REST framework
- • Experience with relational databases, such as PostgreSQL
- • Strong understanding of software architecture principles and design patterns
- • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced startup environment
- • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- • Languages: French and English
